The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 state that gas appliances and fittings in rented property are safe, so landlords are required to test equipment thoroughly every 12 months in order to acquire a Gas Safe Certificate that covers their rented property.
We can assess your gas boiler to ensure that it complies with the latest Gas Safety legislation. Once our checks have been carried out and we are satisfied that the appliance is safe and fit for purpose, we will provide you with a copy of the Gas Safe Certificate, which can then be presented to your tenants. Please note that landlords must keep copies of each Gas Safe Certificate for two years.
